He is the main character in Final Fantasy VII. He is a former SOLDIER and is a mercenary hired by AVALANCHE. Over time he finds himself in the middle of a struggle to save the planet from the Shinra. He wears a dark purple bluish uniform and has glowing blue eyes that is a sign of having been exposed to mako.

He is the leader of an underground resistance group called, AVALANCHE. He is fighting Shinra, Inc. and they build reactors to suck out Mako energy from the planet. He believes this is destroying the planet. His wife died in an accident several years ago, and he lives with his daughter Marlene.

She is the childhood friend of Cloud and even though she has strong feelings for him, she will never admit it. Tifa is very skilled in martial arts. She was the one to convince Cloud to join AVALANCHE. Tifa is very bright and optimistic.

Aeris meets Cloud while selling flowers on the streets of Midgar. She is wanted by Shinra's research department because she has unusual abilities. She asks Cloud to be her bodyguard after the Turks try to kidnap her soon afterward she decides to join AVALANCHE. In the game there is a love triangle between herself, Cloud and Tifa.

He's an animal with fire red fur but he's extremely intelligent. Red XIII was a name given to him by Hojo, he only agrees to join Cloud and the rest of the group until he finds his way back home. Other than that not much is really known about him.

He rides around on a huge stuff Mog. His attacks are funny and strange. His hobby is fortune-telling, but it's totally not accurate. He's pictured on top of Red XIII in the above picture.

Cid is a rough but warm-hearted guy. He's almost always swearing, loses his temper and smokes cigarettes. He dreams of going into space one day.

Yuffie is the youngest one of the group, she comes from a family of Ninjas. She basically forced her way into the group. She is sneaky, hyper, arrogant, and selfish. Oh and she's an excellent thief.

He's a very mysterious, dark, quiet man. His past with Shinra is what made him decide to join Cloud and company. Even though he may seem weak he's actually very powerful.

Job: SOLDIER 1st Class
Weapon: Masamune

The game's main antagonist, he became the most powerful member of SOLDIER ever. After an incident he learned about his true origin. He left SOLDIER and started making plans to become a god by destroying the planet with Meteor and then absorbing the Lifestream. Throughout the game he manipulates Cloud.

Jenova is another one of the major antagonists, in the game. Jenova is an extraterrestrial life form that came from another world to the planet. Throughout the game Jenova is stated as a "she" but a gender wasn't specified. Sephiroth calls Jenova as "Mother" not its real name. All members of SOLDIER were given Jenova cells and were also exposed to mako. This makes the persons stronger. Jenova's goal is to control the planet as well.

He's a crazy scientist, that has no morals or ethics at all. He calls the experiments "specimens," but most are human. He tested different subjects by inserting Jenova cells into them to see what would happen.

The Turks are a group that perform operations on behalf of Shinra, such as espionage, kidnapping and assassinations. The four in the game which are in black suits at the top from left to right are: Rude, Reno, Tseng, and Elena. They look for members to join SOLDIER, and are bodyguards for Shinra executives. Teseng is the leader of the Turks.

President Rufus is cold-hearted and ruthless. He is pictured above in the white suit. He believes that Shinra should rule over the world with fear rather than money.
